Felicia Gabaldon is a resident artist at Faultline Artspace in Oakland. Her work—experienced through a cultural, iconic, and folkloric content—can be seen in galleries in Santa Fe, San Francisco, and Berkeley. She is a Native American Indian from Santa Fe, NM, currently residing in Oakland and expressing herself on larger scales in California and other countries when opportunities arise. Felicia’s work draws from the imagination both a mythical and mystic part of human experience in the natural world. Felicia hopes to suggest that the production of space and human experience influence the formation of individual and communal systems of belief.
Felicia says of her mural, All That Is, “This piece represents the elusive nature of believing in something that is greater than you. We have to nurture ourselves and this planet as the hummingbird does. They're fleeting creatures as is hope. We have to place our faith in the world trusting that something good will come out of all the chaos.”
